# Little Ledger: Family Records

## The records you need. The moments you keep.

Little Ledger helps parents keep their children's paperwork, medicines, reminders and milestones together. Scan a school form, find the detail in a hospital letter, or save a first step - with records organised around the child they belong to.

## Why we built it

Little Ledger began with a conversation between two friends at different stages of becoming dads. Chris had recently become a father, and Dan was preparing to. During a visit to meet Chris's new baby, they talked about the family details scattered across calendars, notes, forms and photographs. They wanted a simpler way to keep the practical information close without losing the personal moments. Chris Simons and Daniel Grieve created Little Ledger to bring those records and memories together.

## Key benefits

- **Keep paperwork together.** Scan documents and import PDFs or photos, then organise them by child and record type.

- **Find the detail you need.** Search records and text recognised in scanned paperwork, alongside notes and other family information.

- **Connect records with next steps.** Keep reminders, appointments, medicine schedules and dose logs with the child they concern.

- **Keep the moments, too.** Save milestones, photographs and growth measurements alongside everyday family records.

- **Choose how to store and share.** Use local storage, optional iCloud sync and sharing, and export and restore tools. No Little Ledger account is required.

## Privacy and choice

Family records are stored on the iPhone by default, with optional Face ID or passcode protection. Families can choose iCloud synchronisation and sharing through Apple. Little Ledger does not operate a separate cloud backend for family records. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase information to manage subscriptions; child, health, document and memory records are not sent to RevenueCat.

On-device summaries and filing suggestions require iOS 26, a supported Apple Intelligence device and language/region, and Apple Intelligence enabled and ready. Suggestions remain for the user to review.
