Ready for Friday
Designed for the moments when you are in a waiting room, at the pharmacy, filling in a nursery form, or trying to remember one important detail while carrying everything else.
Real-life moments
Useful when life is busy, not just when you have time to organise it.
The homepage should prove the app understands real family admin. These are the moments Little Ledger is built for.
At the doctor
Pull up medications, allergies, measurements, previous notes, and the latest scanned letter without searching three different apps.
At nursery or school
Keep emergency contacts, pickup details, forms, and reminders together so admin feels less scattered and less easy to miss.
When you are on the move
Because the app is local-first, the detail you need can already be in your pocket even when there is no appetite for another login or setup flow.
Feature one
One place for records that usually end up scattered everywhere.
Child profiles, notes, reminders, medications, measurements, and documents are organised in a way that feels calm instead of clinical or overbuilt.
- Child profiles and key details together
- Notes, reminders, and day-to-day care info
- Documents and photos attached to the right context
Feature two
Paperwork becomes searchable instead of sinking into your camera roll.
Scan forms, import PDFs, and pull useful text out of family documents with on-device OCR so the app gets smarter without becoming invasive.
- Scan or import documents and photos
- Search the text inside paperwork later
- Keep exports under your control
Feature three
Privacy is explained in plain English because it is built into the product.
Little Ledger is shaped around local storage, optional permissions, and user-controlled export, so the privacy story is easier to understand from the first screen.
- Local-first storage in the app sandbox
- Face ID or device passcode support
- No account-first setup pressure in the current MVP
Why it feels different
The best parent apps reduce noise fast. This one is being shaped to do exactly that.
The strongest family and baby apps tend to win with one clear dashboard, simple reminders, readable hierarchy, and a feeling of trust. Little Ledger leans into those same instincts, but with a more document-first, privacy-first focus.
Readable when you are tired and only have one hand free.
Parents in the first weeks do not want to hunt through clutter. The page and the product both need to feel clear in seconds, with the next useful detail obvious straight away.
Built around forms, notes, appointments, and health details, not just milestones.
A lot of family apps lean heavily into memories and journaling. Little Ledger is leaning toward the more practical reality too: paperwork, reminders, records, and things you cannot afford to lose.
Calm visuals and plain-English privacy matter more than hype.
When an app may hold child and health information, the interface has to feel settled, legible, and respectful. That means stronger hierarchy, less clutter, and a privacy story people can understand immediately.
Privacy, simply explained
Private first. Useful every day. Clear enough to trust quickly.
Little Ledger is built for sensitive family information, so the page should not sound vague or evasive. It should make the privacy choices obvious.
Structured records and files stay inside the app on your device by default.
Search and OCR can help without turning personal documents into cloud data.
Exports, permissions, reminders, and calendar links remain choices you make explicitly.
The founders
Started by two people close to the chaos, not by a team chasing a trend.
One had just become a dad and was already feeling the mess of notes, forms, appointments, and handovers. The other was about to become a dad, loved building systems, and could not believe there was not a better tool for this.
The app idea started with a baby visit, an honest conversation, and an early prototype built in the middle of newborn life.
A calmer way to keep family records
Little Ledger is being shaped for parents who want less digital clutter and more confidence.
